#hemerocallis Pink Damask isnt really this pink more a coppery orange coral but SO shapely
Spires and bells can make a June garden feel like a cathedral. @hanhamcourt owner Julia has coaxed the delphiniums from decline to splendour. Nearly as lush are Campanula latifolia in another garden Room.
Had a lot of fun running a plant stall at Wells Bishops Palace Garden Festival last weekend. Raised needed funds for our community garden project @root_connections . Thanks to my lovely team of volunteers.

Would never recommend our native dog rose in a garden; far too big and prickly but in the park I take lolly this one bush squats prettily under a Rowan tree as good as any overblown garden cultivar.
Valerian officinal comes in two forms; a beefy pale pink and this slender white. They tend to flop and don't flower so long and seed about madly but catch them on the right summer evening... Here with aruncus and Cenolobium denudata.
